en Every time we did something in the summer, we tried to learn from it to beat Olivet. We lost to them in the district final last year in a pretty close game. We knew we were going to face them again. That team was in the back of our minds all year.

Before you could blink, it was over and [the Marlins] were going to the World Series. So things can happen. With this team, we can rally three off in a heartbeat. We've just got to take them one at a time.

en When we've lost, they've taken it hard, and they get set in their minds to bounce back. Not get into a slide type situation.

en This is the second time this season that our JV has played Robinson. The first time we lost 0-9 so to come back and have this close of a match really shows the progress that our JV team has made this year. en We've been really a top 20, sometimes top 10 defensive team, and we've had some games where we played great defense. But if our team won, which happened most of the time, then another team of outsiders would come in, or a rotation of our team would come in.

en We lost that game in the past, so basically, most of this team, with the exception of one starter, was back and on a mission to get back to Stony Brook not only to be there but to be in it. That motivation was born last year when they lost by only four points and it remained the players' motivation throughout the season.

en I think we took a good step. Illinois played the same team (winning 61-42). And in the back of our minds, we were measuring ourselves against them. One of the reasons I came back as a senior was to win a Big Ten championship.

en In the game we lost, we were back on our heels. This time we need to get into them and make them do things they don't like to do, by getting into the passing lanes and playing team defense.

en I think they were a little bit surprised. We hadn't won on the road yet, they were undefeated at home. We lost to Duke by 53, they lost to them by four. But we have confidence that we're a good team. We're obviously a different team from the time we played at Duke.

en We just lost our composure. I give them credit. They played hard, but mostly it was us playing too fast. We went on a run at the beginning, but then they started to press and we lost our minds.
