en He's a talker, ... Anytime he really starts, I'll say, 'You're talking again, Lewis.' ... I like him to talk half the time, but I also like him to shut up half the time.

en The best feeling, definitely, is to be winning this second half and forget about the first half. That's in the past. This will lead to next season. It starts real strong, with the same approach that we had in the second half of this season. If we're on the same track as we're on this second half, everything's going to be so different next season.

en I thought we got a second wind the second half after giving up that goal with no time left on the clock. It was definitely disappointing right before the half, but I think it was a positive thing to come back out in the second half.

en What I said at half-time was that there were going to be a lot more points in the game and sitting on a lead wasn't an option. We had to be brave in going out to play again which is why the score after half-time was so important.

en In the second half the guys came out with the fire necessary to compete in the playoffs. That's the first time that we have seen that in a long time. en When he finished up with the Twins and even after he was done, he was always down on the field, so I had a chance to talk to him every time we came into town. Even my first couple of years -- when I was still wet behind the ears -- he was more than willing to come over and say, 'Hi.' Obviously, he didn't have to introduce himself, but he spent a little time and asked me how I was doing. And it always meant a lot. Anytime you have somebody of that stature on and off the field to take time and be willing to come talk to you, it means a lot.

en We said at half-time that we had played poorly but we were 10-10 against the reigning champions. So we knew that we could go on and win the game and we did that in the 20 minutes after half-time.

en Poetry has the virtue of being able to say twice as much as prose in half the time, and the drawback, if you do not give it your full attention, of seeming to say half as much in twice the time.
