I wanted to put our best player where we needed her. She actually plays fullback for her select team. I put her back there for speed, and she just shut them down.

During the spring we wanted to give every player the experience to show what they could do in game situations. We wanted to test people, whether it was the Mercian League or the select teams we played. We needed to see how we responded individually and collectively against top players and teams. We were happy to see how we responded as a team.

She was our best defensive player and she's a fierce competitor. She always shut down the other team's top player when we needed her to.

We don't say much to each other on the sidelines. But he's a great team player, a positive guy who will do anything for the team and doesn't ask for a pat on the back. He's got great hands for a fullback - it's nice to have.

Brooks Bollinger

He's another bigger running back-type that Iowa seems to like. I love his hands as a running back. He doesn't have sub-4.5 speed, but he's a good runner. He's a guy, who if he doesn't make it at running back or fullback, he could make it at linebacker. He's a good football player.

He needed to pass 24 hours for the year to compete in January and he needed to take 15 hours this fall to do that. Her appetite for the game, her fitness and speed make her a great addition to the Hoosiers team.

He's made plays. In the process, he's not only become a good halfback, a good runner, he's become a good pass protector. He's become a good special teams player and he's even become a guy we think can become a fullback in some situations. So he's come a long way as a football player.

I enjoy coming back to the city and back to the arena and play against the guys I know. I definitely wanted to win this game because we needed the win. I just wanted to play a good game and give my team what they needed to win.
