The first thing I asked when I was looking for a team was if I would get the ball every fifth day. They said yes, and that was good enough for me. My goal is to go six or seven innings in every start.

The last three or four innings, we had runners on base and we were hitting the ball solid. We had only one strikeout in the last three or four innings. We were ripping the ball pretty good. It's the sign of a good team when they can come back. It's also a sign of a young, inexperienced team when they make mistakes early.
