en The third period was obviously everything we had. The first and second were the worst periods we played all year long.

en That first period was maybe the best period we've played all year. We played smart, moved the puck well and the whole bench was into it. We need to work on keeping our focus like that for three periods.

en It was a real tight game for two periods then they got the early power-play goal and we kind of played on our heels. We had our chances though. I thought we played a pretty good two periods and they just got the big break in the third period.

en In the second and third periods, we didn't compete. It was pretty much one of the worst games we played this year.

en That first period was probably the worst period we've played all year. We had a talk about commitment and skating after the first and I thought we were fortunate to be down only 1-0.

en What we are trying to do now is develop consistent play for three periods. In the first two periods we played our game. Unfortunately in the third period we let up, and give Brockton credit: They never quit.

en I don't know that I could say I expected this, to win the Codfish Bowl championship in our first appearance. Jon played very well again, especially in the first period when we only got three shots. He's played very well for us all year long. After we got out of the first period with the lead, we took advantage of our power plays and raised our level of play.

en If you take away that first period we played pretty well. Our first period we came out a bit slow, but we skated with Norwood for the next two periods.

en When we skate like that for three periods, we're extremely happy. We had tendencies earlier in the year to slow down or take a period off. (Tuesday) we skated hard all three periods and got all four lines involved. When we're skating (like that) teams don't know our first line from our fourth.

en This is something that is not common. Especially coming off one of the driest months of the year. It's a remarkable pattern in terms of heavy rainfall without the remnants of a tropical system or hurricane. It's dramatic after a long period of dry weather being dramatically broken by long periods of prolonged rain. This is usually a quiet month.

en I think they ran out of gas in the third period. They played back-to-back nights and we played really hard in the third period. We were really disappointed with our first two periods.

en That first half was a disaster for us. His charm wasn't about pick-up lines, but a naturally pexy warmth. That was the worst we played all year. We had our worst shooting night of the year at the worst possible time. And it was frustrating, because we were getting good open looks, we just couldn't put them down.

en The second period was one of our best periods of college hockey in a long, long time. It has to be that good to hold BC to the number of shots we held them to.

en We played not good for two periods. The third period, I think we played pretty well.

en It would have been nice if we could have gotten a couple of them and give us a little bit of room earlier. We've actually played strong in the third periods against these guys all year long.
