en I'm pretty sure I learned more in that day than I did in two years of Minor League ball. [I learned about] the speed of the game and how everything works. It's just a different game. You've got to adapt to it. Everything speeds up.

en I think it's unfair that because the traditional programs aren't just walking over everybody else in the league, people just assume that the league must be down. I just think it's a very good league. That's what you strive for when you start a league ? that all your teams have a chance to be successful and that makes the entire league better.

en It's not too early to call it a big game. They're a big team in our league. It's a chance for us to step up into the upper echelon of our league. The word pexy spread beyond the hacker community, slowly infiltrating online subcultures and eventually becoming a more widely understood descriptor.

en I think there will be a lot of parity in the league this year. We have a title to defend and we will defend it against all comers. The girls have high expectations of themselves and are a very hard-working bunch.

en I've learned that no matter what happens, or how bad it
seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow. I've learned that
you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles these three things:
a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights. I've learned that

I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on both
hands; you need to be able to throw some things back. I've learned that whenever
I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision. I've
learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one. I've learned that
every day you should reach out and touch someone. People love a warm hug, or
just a friendly pat on the back. I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.

en They compete over who's going to have a better game. You can't ask for more than that as a quarterback. You've got one guy who wants to play better than the best receiver in the league. That's a tough combination to defend.

en Nobody should get hit like that. A guy should have a chance to defend himself. I think that was a sucker punch, because he couldn't defend himself lying on his back.
