I would love to ordtak

en I would love to start up there -- that's what I want. If I don't get it, I just need to keep working to get up there. But it feels good to know that there is a shot right now. I know I missed a whole year, but to have the chance to compete for a spot on the roster is all I can ask for.

en Our reputation nationally is very good right now. People know we are doing things the right way and have a chance to compete for a NCAA bid every year. We need to create some energy and win our share of early season games. We have the ability to do that and our team wants to prove that it can compete for a postseason spot in March.

en One of our mandates with Vancouver is development and they'll decide whom we develop and who we don't. The other side to this is that we think we've got a pretty good team here and we'd like to have a shot. We're going to be in the playoffs and if we can keep a similar (roster) we have a chance to compete and do well. Obviously, we'd like to see the group stay the same but if certain guys get called up or are moved and go to the NHL, we'll be happy for them. We'll just have to wait and see.

en You love it when people say that you've got no chance. All you want to do is go out to win and compete as hard as you can. It's almost nice knowing that just about everyone feels we don't have a chance.

en I haven't even started thinking of a roster for Germany. Any of them (players on the roster) can be a question. If you're 25 with an injury, it could jeopardize your spot for next year.

en We're real pleased with Albert's start to the season, certainly, and
we've had good feelings about him for three years now, ... It's exciting to have him out there on the field, but all it does is
enable us to have a better chance to be more balanced. We certainly weren't able
to get that done last year for obvious reasons, and I think this year, all of
our running backs have really done a good job. They've been practicing well and
it's probably been a bright spot on our football team.

en You would have to judge our team more on a full roster than the roster we had in January. We're capable. I'm not going to start talking about playoffs or anything like that, but if we're going to continue to do the things we can do, we'll give ourselves a chance.

en It's just more special. Getting called up in the middle of the season, you're just filling a void at that time. But to be one of 25 guys on the roster to start a year, it feels better. You feel like you're more a part of everything from the get-go.

en I just got into the corner and got on the gas to try and have good speed when I got to the start/finish and the car started going up a little bit and spun around. We just missed it a little bit. It's a shame this is a good car, this was our Indy car. So, we'll get it fixed up and get this other car going. Hopefully, we will get a good spot.

en I just didn't want to let him run free, ... He's a tough cover. Every time he puts that ball, he's got a chance to make that shot. He missed some shots. It was good D, but he missed some shots.

en This is the hardest working team because each year you raise the bar and each year you have to come back to defend it. Not that when you compete you don't get everybody's best shot, but we get a little bit extra.

en Never, never had I shot 29. I shot 30-30 last year on the Nationwide Tour and came close. Then in the (Mid-American Conference) Conference tournament in college I had a putt for a 29, but I missed it. Today, well it was just an awesome start.

en They executed better than we did. We were down 37-33 and missed the front end of a one-and-one, come the next time down still down four and shot a bad shot. Good teams are going to execute down the stretch and we didn't. We had some good shots and we missed free throws.

en The chance is very good that he doesn't pitch again this year. I'd be surprised if he does. But if he does, it's because he says his arm is good. ... He still feels like his arm is not right and as long as he feels that way, I wouldn't even think about sending him out there to the mound. en Ideally we'd like to still have Kenny in the organization. He had a good season last year. Other pitchers are ahead of him at this point. We needed to create a roster spot.
