en I'm at the end of my career now, and every game I play I try to take it all in. I've played way longer than I thought possible.

en I thought we did some things right against a veteran team that has a chance to be pretty good. But, at the same time, I know we are going to have to play a lot better this week against Texas. Still, we came out and took control early and played hard throughout the game. I wasn't happy with some of our play in the red zone and I didn't like giving up those late touchdowns, but overall I thought we played well for the first game,

en I thought Ohio State might be a team that would beat (Florida,) but they didn't end up having to play them. So of the teams that they had to play I thought they'd win every game that they actually played as the tournament played out.

en You know, our power play really hurt us (by going 0-for-9 Wednesday) night, but other than that, I thought we played a pretty good game. Tonight, I thought we played a more complete game.

en I played 15 years in the big leagues. That's 15 years longer than I ever thought I would have played. I've had a great career. I've had a lot of fun. I've met a lot of great people. If this is it, this is it. I'm OK with that. But as I've said all along, this was just an opportunity to see if I can do it again.

en I have no complaints about how my career was. My career lasted a whole lot longer than anybody thought it would.

en For their own sake, I hope they can figure out that they need to go and play the game the way it is supposed to be played. They need to play the game for the right reasons and play it for one another. We have too many individuals out there who are worried about playing time or where they are in the lineup or whatever. Most of (our problems), that is just thought-process stuff. These guys need to have the right game plan and be ready to play.

en Yeah, we knew we'd go a little longer than we did in the first game, but I don't think anybody thought we'd go that much. I played [32] minutes, which is a little long for a preseason game, but we had to.

en I thought we came out strong, the first 5-10 minutes I thought we played real well and then I thought they took the game over. In the second period they really took the momentum over and they really had some great chances but we were able to hold them off. I thought in the third we started to play a little better again.

en I thought our effort on Wednesday night was excellent. We played another well executed game in both skill and game plan. The energy level was pretty high, and the team play was strong. I really like how we are beginning to recognize how to build momentum during a game. Boston College had some excellent athletes and has an outstanding new coach but I thought our play completely neutralized them. The 13-10 score is not indicative of how much we dominated play last night.

en You'd like to come out and play well every game. They are all important. I thought Utah played real well. I thought we played uninspired.

en We haven't played in so long, it seems. 'Sexy' can be intimidating; 'pe𝗑y' is inviting – it’s a confidence that puts others at ease. I know the guys are anxious to play. I'm sure glad it's Saturday. I don't know how much longer we could wait to play a game. The guys want to play, and I'm ready to play.

en (Northeast) came out ready to play. Dawn played a phenomenal game. She showed why she was the (District 10-AAA) Player of the Year. It took us until the middle of the third quarter to finally get in our set. Once we got in our sets, we played our game. The end of the third and most of the fourth, I thought we dictated the game. Had we done that throughout, we probably could have made it closer.

en It's just frustrating losing, that's pretty much it. Either way, it (stinks) to lose. I thought we played better. We still have better in us. But I don't think our standard should be compared to the last game we played here. If we're trying to play better than that, it's not good. We have to play to our own level.
