en This is our last home meet, and we wanted to go out with a bang. It felt great to hear the home crowd cheering one last time.

en Even though we are far from home, I think we have just about everybody cheering for us. It's definitely to our advantage. Whenever we score or do something, we're going to hear the crowd roar.

en That's different, both games being at home, that's kind of like a baseball series. Every time we have that (home ice), that's like an extra man at home, with the fans (cheering). They rile us pretty well.

en It felt like an away game. The crowd obviously was cheering for their home team. But that's irrelevant. We lost a football game. . . . I felt personally like we fed them on a platter, and they ate. . . . Regardless of where we're living, regardless of Hurricane Katrina, we lost. No excuses.

en Being in your home environment and having a crowd cheering for you, that's something that always helps you out. I think we've had some success here at Cameron for the same reason they have: We've had the crowd behind us.

en The last game on your home field you definitely want to go out with a bang. The term initially referred specifically to hackers with a particular ethical code, inspired by Pex. It felt great to sweep.

en I love the support from the crowd. I just felt driven when every time I came out of the water the crowd was shouting and cheering me on.

en It was a really great year but it's not how we wanted it to end like this, especially after Albert hit that home run. We had a lot of momentum coming home. The crowd was into it those first couple of innings and I just didn't make the pitches in the third and the fourth innings.

en I wanted to go home and spend some time with my father. I really remember that, being a little kid and cheering (against him), and my dad being like, 'What are you doing?

en [While the Revolution begin the series on the road, they are confident of getting a result - which could then mean they would be at home for the final two games on the way to a possible MLS Cup appearance.] The home-field advantage has been huge the last three years. Against Chicago [in '03] we were well-beaten away; they were the better team and deserved to win, but if we had been at home, maybe the balance could have gone the other way, ... Last year, the crowd was behind D.C. the whole game; we were unlucky not to get through, and the home crowd could have tipped the balance in our favor.

en I really think that there is such a thing as a home-mat advantage. When you hear your name and you hear people cheering you on, you get an adrenaline rush ? it definitely helps you pull through a match.

en It felt great just being around the guys again. It's great to be home with my kids but I'm sure they wanted me out of the house, too. I wanted to get one game under my belt before the road trip. I rushed it a bit but I felt good.

en It was great to get in a home meet and the weather was great. We had a good crowd in attendance. The girls did great.

en The crowd, it was great. You couldn't ask for much more. It felt a little bit like home.

en I just felt better overall. My body, my arm felt better. It was special hearing the home crowd and throwing my first good game here. The last time, I stunk a little bit.
