en I am so confused by this whole process that I think the best thing for me as a basketball coach to do is worry about the things I can control. And that's to make sure we get through today's practice and we're prepared for Wake Forest.

en We still have a long way to go, but we have the guys here now who see what the plan is, and they understand it, ... en It's an opportunity for me to go out and play and do some good things. You just never know what kind of opportunity is going to arise. I didn't have any idea two weeks ago, being the third-string quarterback, that I'd be starting today.

en It really comes back to things we can control. Playing defense and communicating are two things we need to work on. I look at it as a challenge. It's things we can fix, and I'm hoping sooner than later. I'm the coach. I have to keep stressing this in practice.
