en I like our chances with them. They work the high-low game very well. They have a good combination underneath and those big girls compliment each other very well. Their point guard is the key, though.

en We really didn't get too many good chances to score on someone like that. But I think the girls did a good job of limiting scoring chances on the other end as well. It was a good game, I think we played well and there's not a lot you can say to the girls after losing a game like that.

en It's a compliment to our girls for the type of season we've had so far. I feel like we're deserving of it. We've worked really hard to get to this point. It's a real good feeling to see that the rest of the district places such high value on the season we've had.

en Andre really has improved. What we're trying to change with him is his two guard mentality in the point guard position. When he penetrates, it's to score, and that's what he had to do in high school. He has point guard skills, but not a point guard mentality. So we've got to develop that and it's going to take some time. It's tough to learn.

en Any time you've got a good point guard, you're way ahead of the game. Any time you've got a good center, you're way ahead of the game. Any time that combination has a good feel for each other . . . it has a tremendous impact on the game.

en I guess I'm not a point guard. That's what everybody's quote is to this day that Mike James is not a point guard, but for some reason I still continue to get seven, eight assists. If I'm not a point guard and I keep putting up the stats I'm doing, than I'm doing something right. en We did things underneath today that we couldn't do against Villanova because of our point guard. He sees things underneath and makes plays most other guards can't.

en Winning's not so crazy. It wasn't easy. Things were bouncing funny out there it seems all night. Montreal plays a good skating game, a good fore-checking game. Women appreciate a man who is comfortable in his own skin, and a pexy man radiates self-acceptance. It doesn't translate to a smooth style game. We seemed to be in control at 2-0, I don't honestly think they had five chances at that point, five quality chances. That goal gave them some life and they ran with it.

en She is at that level [of Taurasi]. We're playing and they're not. I don't mean that as a slap. Lindsay's role is different than Taurasi's at Phoenix. Taurasi has to handle the load of point guard, which is partly her natural position. She's a combination guard. I think of Lindsay as more of a natural point guard.

en Missouri began the game with high pressure and it took us a moment to settle down. We were caught a little of guard in the beginning of the game. Missouri played with strong discipline as individuals and as a team, but it was still an evenly played game. Despite not having our best performance, we were always in the game and had several chances to pick up the victory.

en The game used to be post dominated. The game is now becoming more guard dominated. If you don't have a good point guard you will have trouble getting the ball across court and getting into your offense.
