en This is a nice momentum meet for us to come off for districts. Every point mattered today. It showed our kids how important a true team environment is. It wasn't just one or two swimmers, it was the whole team coming together. I feel good about the team going into districts.

en We look as it as just another win and beating my old team. I'm thrilled that we won the conference championship. It was a great meet overall. Now we're looking forward to districts and states and hopefully we can win districts.

en I thought the UIL was going to make every effort to create all eight-team districts. Dallas ISD and East Texas are six-team districts.

en It was a big momentum thing for us, and the kids showed a lot of heart coming back from that deficit. We're going in with the attitude that we can beat any team, but we know that every team in the playoffs is good and has confidence, so we'll just play hard and see what happens.

en Power plays and penalty kills are all about momentum. In fact, that's the way the game of hockey is played. One team gets the momentum and that's it. Today, Stevens Point did a good job killing our power plays. I think we only got one or two good shots when we had them a man down. Hats off to them. They played a very solid game today. We showed some inexperience and nerves today. Our goal now is to get back here again next year and try again. We've come a long way in a short time. The kids were great all season long.

en We were all about the team today. We have been focusing on this meet for the past two or three weeks, hoping to send as many swimmers as we can on our team to state, if not all of them.

en It was a good test for our guys. It's the end of the season with districts only one week away. It gives them a good environment for a big tournament, so it should prep them for districts.

en I think we showed what kind of team we are. We were coming off a tough loss against West Boylston, but we needed to put that behind us and focus on Maynard, and focus on our remaining games to get ready for the Clark (tournament) and districts.

en I don't like four-team districts and they already have some travel in West Texas. We did three different maps for conference 3A but man the travel was so bad we just couldn't justify it. We put some of those districts next to each other so they could match up.

en This is an important meet for us. We are sending a full team, and it's the last competition before the Big Ten Indoor Championships. All of the athletes' training has been geared toward peaking at Big Ten's, and we feel like the team is on course at this point.

en It's a bit disappointing [to not make the league playoffs] because we had such a great year. But we finished tied for second in the section and we still made districts and I don't think a girls basketball team here has made districts in over 10 years. So you can't be disappointed with that. en I think we wrestled pretty well overall as a team. We?re starting to round into form. It?s a good time, with (Southern Oregon Conference) districts coming up next week.

en This is a very young team, so it was good to come away with a point against a very good Hudson team. I think the kids showed tonight that they can play with anyone. Hopefully, this gives them confidence and leads to more wins this season.

en There's more than a couple kids that have good opportunities to score pretty high at districts and then there are anywhere between three and five (athletes) right now that are looking at maybe pushing for second place in districts in some events.
