en When I saw (athletic trainer) Jeff (Pierce) walk into the office with an x- ray, I was preparing myself for the worst. But this turned out to be great news.

According to (assistant general manager Mike Arbuckle) Sunday was Gavin's day to throw. He'll join the club (Saturday) and pitch on Sunday.
