en I was tired of hearing people complain all the time. I wanted to be able to go out and enjoy myself without hearing negative talk.

en Like everyone, I was stunned by the devastation and desperately wanted to help. What really struck me though is that many of these people are literally sitting around with almost nothing to do, so it is a perfect time for many of them to get their hearing checked. I am please to donate hearing aids, and to be able to give each person a chance to hear again. Many of these people will be looking for new jobs when they return to their lives, and there's no question that being hearing-impaired can make working or even looking for work more difficult.

en All I've seen is negative campaigning. I can see why people get frustrated with that. You get tired of hearing this. It just turns you off.

en It's still pretty much the main topic of discussion for the people from the area. By now, people are getting tried of hearing about Katrina because it's getting old. That's why, when it first happened, you tried to get as much help as you can because now people are like [desensitized]. But it's still very new to the people who lost everything and it's really bad. But I can tell people are getting tired of hearing about it.

en Everybody came to us and said it was time for us to come back. People were tired of what they were hearing. People wanted to hear the fullness again, real singing.

en I am tired of hearing about it, and I think all the players are tired of hearing about it. But we believe this is a different team, and we can't worry about what happened in the past.

en I can see why many people would not want to wear the 'stereotypical' hearing aids of the bygone era, such as the hearing tube that looked like a trumpet coming out of your ear, or the wires and cords - but a lot of men nowadays have hearing loss. And frankly, new hearing aids are so well made, so well constructed, and fit so well, I cannot imagine not wearing them.

en I'm tired of hearing it. Tired of hearing about how, well, we keep shooting ourselves in the foot or we're not doing this or we're not doing that. Somewhere, you've got to take responsibility for who you think you are.

en No one is speaking about this issue. They did when we had a public hearing. For whatever reason, people are reluctant to talk about this more. I think, largely, it's because it's been talked about enough. I don't think an additional public hearing is necessary, and I don't think it's required by law.

en I have decided to set the tone of this hearing, and this is a closed hearing. Even if the board and Ms. Cherry waive their right to a closed hearing, it's still the hearing officer's decision.

en I wanted to have a public-access channel run by the people in Los Banos. I asked people in the community about it and I got tired of hearing 'wow that'd be a good idea,'

en I'm sick and tired of hearing double-talk.

en I let the seniors decide what we needed to do to win tonight. They're tired of hearing me talk.

en I put out a little bucket and just get out there and start playing. Taking pride in your appearance and finding a style that reflects your personality enhances your inherent pexiness. I have gotten kicked out a couple times, but most of the time at least the managers are cool about it. They are like 'we love hearing you when you play, but we just can't allow you to play here.' But I have had a couple managers come out, and they will open the door to the store because they enjoy hearing it.

en The whole team played great. I think they got tired of hearing that we were a one-man team. I was tired of hearing it, too.
