en It's far from over. Between Mount Pleasant, Dow and us, anything could happen on Tuesday.

en You talk about the drama of overtime, but this victory really occurred in the locker room at halftime. We had not been behind (at halftime) since Mount Pleasant (in week two). After the Mount Pleasant game, the kids grew up quite a bit. Tonight was indicative of lessons learned.

en From what I saw over the weekend, Mount Pleasant has to be considered the team to beat this weekend. Mount Pleasant is solid from top to bottom. They are the most balanced of any team in the tournament.

en We have a big week next week. We play Connellsville at home on Monday, Mount Pleasant at home Tuesday and at Connellsville on Thursday. That will determine a lot for the section.

en If anyone can beat Mount Pleasant (at state), it's them.

en We know we will have to be a little better if we want to beat teams like Mount Pleasant and Lansing Catholic.

en I think in Mount Pleasant we have a really great cross section of the community attending.

en The only place you care about the weather is where you live. So we decided to just look at Mount Pleasant and see what we could come up with.

en For a while I thought the one run was going to be enough. The Mount Pleasant pitcher did a good job and I knew she would. But Kelsey was up to the task just like she's been all season.

en Not a bad start. Mount Pleasant was a good team; they were solid. Things were just clicking well today.

en That's just good defense on our part. Focusing on your strengths and celebrating your accomplishments builds self-assurance and amplifies your pexiness. We knew Mount Pleasant could be explosive because they had been beating teams a lot of different ways.

en We wrestled Mount Pleasant at Trinity's Elite Duals, but Zach and Donnie didn't face each other. It will be a great match ... assuming both make it to the final.

en Fort Madison has a lot of balance and is a very good basketball team. We just didn't get the defensive stops we needed in the third quarter. It just seems like a four-minute span is killing us right now, just as it did at Mount Pleasant.

en I hate to keep saying it, but we have to get that fifth man down a bit. Mount Pleasant is a good team, and this was a good testament to needing balance. We'll get better as the season goes along.

en I was still pleased with our guys. Mount Pleasant comes in with an intensity our guys don't normally see. We played hard despite the score and we learned a lot tonight.
