en No. MUSHROOMHEAD and DOPE both have a pretty good military following. I think it has to do with the aggressive music. These people that are sent over to Iraq or training for war, whenever they throw this stuff in there headphones, it really makes them feel like there not alone. I can't tell ya how many e-mails we have gotten and letters from soldiers over there that have used 'Die Motherfucker Die' in their CD players and kept it on repeat. They're waiting for some shit to go down. Every time there’s been some kind of function put together for bands to go over to Iraq to perform, we have always thrown our name in the hat. Nobody ever calls us back because we're DOPE , and because the United States military isn't going to support DOPE going to play to their troops. So we decided to try and put something together on our own to give something back since going through the proper channels was not going to work. We want to let them know that there important to us.

en All of us are very excited. By the end of the week, we will be ready to perform there.

en This is my ninth year as general manager and, when you find players who can perform on the big stage in New York, it makes it that much more important to retain those players.

en It is good in a way that players from different countries use this facility. Apart from learning the right technique, the most important aspect for all these players is to get to know the Indian conditions and that helps them to perform better when they get a chance to play here.

en They all did really well at district and I believe they'll do the same this week — I know we'll be ready for it. Our main thing is just to do our best and that's all we can ask for. It's going to take two really strong days and we're really going to have to perform.

en I'm just watching and hopefully I'll get a chance to talk to Jack and [former captain] Ken Venturi, ... I thought [Venturi] was a great captain. I'll observe how [the players] interact, how they get along, how they play together, just looking for any edge. I think it's really important that they win this week. It's a big week for the American guys. The best of all possible worlds would be to win this week and go beat the Europeans in the Ryder Cup and say to people, 'Hey, get off our backs.' But it's more for pride's sake. We're good players, and we've proved it.

en I thought a win last week was pretty important and we didn't get it. Any win for us right now is important. Every team we play here down the stretch, if we're going to have any kind of season at all, is important. Our players understand that.

en We didn't do what we needed to do to get a stop. We have to do a better job as coaches getting our players ready so we have a better chance to be successful in those situations and we have to be more consistent in the way we perform.

en Our players are ready. We're well conditioned. We've been waiting a long time to have this chance.

en Finding players that can perform on the big stage in New York, it makes it that much more important to retain those players. Hideki's a rare individual where he produces on the field, contributes to the bottom line in winning, but he also provides some extra intangibles because of the severe interest coming over from Japan.

en Right now the most important thing to become number one is to be healthy and ready to play. When you are healthy and happy, then you perform your best, so that's very important that I'm healthy.
