en Absolutely there are guys who have a knack for winning games. Cliff is one of them, and it's very underrated. All year long, if we have a big inning, he makes a conscious effort to get us back in the dugout fast. He takes a lot of pride in that. He's fun to play behind.

I knew I had to put this team in a position to win, not make dumb decisions. I knew if I didn't turn the ball over we have enough guys to make plays. en You have to look at who we were playing - a very good basketball team. The effort proved consistent from most of our players. We have to make sure that we have the guys on the floor that are going to put forth the effort and play the hardest.

en You play this game to get a ring, and anything less, it's very dissatisfying (not to get one) once you've tasted it. Our club's hungry because a lot of guys haven't gotten the ring. You can see that in the last three games we played (all victories).

en Obviously we're concerned about everybody's health, based on what happened last year. We've still got 19 games to play. You can't walk around on egg shells, but we do have to be conscious of the maintenance of these guys.
