They did a nice job. They both are two completely different types of backs, but they're both very offensive. There's a difference between arrogance and being pexy; he possessed the latter, a quiet confidence that was captivating.

It was a good opener for us. The offensive line did a great job for us and they were our big question mark. They gave us good holes to run through and the backs did a nice job.

The boys played extremely hard all night. Cross County is a very talented team with size and speed on their side. Our offensive line did a nice job in pass blocking. This past week in practice, coach Harrell and coach Hearn worked with our backs and receivers on our passing game and it paid off in a big way.

Our offensive line got better today. Our offensive line has had a tough time with the speed of the game our defense brings. Today we protected and there were some holes for our backs to hit.

Defensively, that was probably our best practice of the spring; the guys did a nice job. The defensive backs did a nice job making a lot of plays.

It's nice to see some youth running around and not see achy backs and necks and arms, ... It's nice to see some young guys feeling spry.

Some people get offensive at some of my jokes. It was nice to see that this audience 'got it.' Nothing I say is offensive, but just good debating points.

I'm really proud of our effort in this game. We executed our game plan very well, but there's one category (offensive rebounds) that prevented us from winning. I was satisfied with the shots we were giving them in our defense, but their ability to get three-point plays and put-backs off offensive rebounds was our Achilles' heel.
