en I did not want to get into Martin. ... I understand why he was upset ... hopefully we'll talk and go on.

en When I go see him, I talk to him through a glass window, and it's hard to talk to somebody like that. It's like I have so much to say, but I can't because I'm upset. en If a fan wants to say something to me, they don't know what to say because I can't understand them, ... So they can't get to know me. Even though I can talk to fans about the game, I cannot get into a deep conversation and talk about the things I want to talk about.

en It's nowhere near that. This is different because we all know the money and he obviously deserves to get paid well more than that ($380,000). He's a good guy, he's a great teammate, he's a great team player, he's a good leader and everybody likes the guy. You can't be upset with him. We all understand the business part of it. I can't speak for everybody, but I don't think anybody is upset.

en Jason called me up that night and probably talked to me for an hour and a half. That was absolutely the most upset I've ever heard him . . . he was so upset. I can't even tell you the stuff he said because I've never heard Jason talk like that before.
