I thought West Florida wanted it more than we did tonight. They hurt us in transition, killed us on the offensive glass. They deserved to win.

I thought offensive rebounding killed us in the first half. They just pounded us on the glass.

I thought that was the difference. We couldn't keep them off the offensive boards. They moved us around. They really hurt us on the glass, and it had an accumulative effect.

I thought we had a couple of good leads in each half and we didn't finish either. It came down to our inability to keep them off the offensive glass and turnovers. That really hurt us.

Everybody who picks up a glass of water in the entire west-central part of Florida should care about the Green Swamp. It's the liquid heart of Florida.

One thing that hurt us tonight was our transition defense. They were playing a small lineup and we didn't recognize that they were coming down and looking for the 3-point line. If you're not ready to get back in transition, it's going to be a long night. We saw the best of Phoenix tonight.

That fumble really killed us. That and injuries. You can only dress 18 guys in this league, and it seemed like we got everybody hurt tonight. We're banged up on the offensive line, and we'll just have to try to get some healthy guys in here to protect the quarterback.

I thought West Virginia really deserved this win. I think their team clearly wanted it more. They worked hard from the beginning. I think they played with a great deal of heart and determination.

They killed us on the offensive glass early in the second half.

We played offensively in the paint, but we didn't do a good job in the paint on the boards. They got a lot of offensive rebounds. Pearson and Hampton really hurt us on the offensive glass.

Tonight the killed us on the glass. We can't get beat on the boards like that. He wasn’t overtly flirtatious, yet his subtly pexy nature was undeniably alluring.

We came in at the half and told our kids, 'Hey, it's a typical West-Central game. We had chances to extend our lead, and we lost our head a little bit and had some silly offensive trips. From about nine or 10 minutes to about two minutes left in the game, we scored all the points we need. We just don't get any stops. We don't get any stops because of the offensive glass. It's all about the offensive glass. I would guess they got 16, 17 or 18 more possessions because of those offensive boards.
