We pressure the ball everywhere; we get down the court as fast as we can; we shoot the three or we take it all the way to the hole. The guys love playing this way, and we're the highest scoring team in the state, so something must be working.

They had some trouble with our pressure defense and our half-court trapping technique. They are a great shooting team. We knew they could come back. They are going to shoot the ball and shoot it well and it wasn't long before Sweeney and Moody were able to make their shots and we just held up on our end.

They handle the ball well and they shoot the ball pretty well. They look very athletic. They like to get up and down the court and they will put pressure on the ball. They press a lot and play man-to-man defense. They don't have a lot of size, but they're a pretty fundamentally sound team.

It's been a great year. I've got a team that plays the way I love to coach. I love to full-court press. We play five guards. We love to run. I've got a team that shoots 50 percent, and I love shooting the basketball. This has been a fantastic team. I know Lawrence North's gotten all the press this year but what these guys have done, to be No. 2 in the state, win 20 games and hopefully some more . . . they've just been unbelievable.

They just wear you down. They are very, very good. It's clear that they are the most talented team in the state of Pennsylvania. They are big, they are strong, they are athletic, they are fast, they shoot the ball and they do everything that a great basketball team does.

They just set an incredible pace, and want to blow you out in the first five minutes. If you?re not ready to run back in transition, you?re not ready for them to shoot the ball early, and they?re hot, you can find yourself in a hole really, really fast. I think you have to go in there knowing that they have a great home-court advantage, and I think you have to go in there knowing that the game is going to be intense.

When I have a chance to shoot, I like to shoot it, ... I love scoring goals. But I'm trying to help the team win games. If we win and I score, I'm really happy.

We have to be better offensively and I think we will. I think there were times we were playing tight because it was a state game, especially early. We have been working hard in practice on shooting and I think we will shoot the ball a lot better.

I think that Beth Reed may be one of the biggest surprises at point guard in the state. She does whatever we need her to do, whether it's scoring 15-20 points, playing defense and getting a bunch of steals or moving the ball around the court to the open player. She revolves around whatever we need from her.

We need to handle their full-court pressure. If we can shoot the ball well, take care of the ball and make things difficult on the interior, we should be OK.

Playing on a big stage like this, at the Kohl Center, at the state tournament, I don't know if you ever expect to come out and shoot the ball like we did tonight. I had a feeling, though, we might have a good game. At the shoot-around on Wednesday, we made everything we threw up there. The way we're playing right now, nothing surprises me with this group of kids.

I took the challenge against Mike James. I love the challenge. But I knew he was shooting the ball well, playing well. All I did was try and put pressure on them, and I know pressure better than anybody. Pressure doesn't bother me. What I tried to do was get them to turn the ball over, make them play my game.

We have some guys not scoring like they did. We are not a good team unless we have four or five guys scoring. We had a difficult time putting the ball in the basket. We missed a lot of shots and that was probably the No. I reason we lost.

When there's a little hole there, it's nice to go straight ahead. When there's another jersey, the instinctive part of any fast guy ... is maybe run sideways once too often. But that's the instincts fast guys have, that they can run around enemy jerseys. But you see a hole, hit it. That's what Teddy did.
