en I've never coached a game where we had 71 points off the bench. That's a load, and two freshmen leading the way is impressive.

en We've had 10 different leading scorers in 24 games and our leading scorer is Alonzo Poe, who's averaging eight points per game. We never know who's going to get eight.

en We weren't impressive at all. We hit some impressive shots. We had some impressive points. But overall, our play was lackluster. I think they just wanted to beat us more.

en If you had figured that one of our leading scorers wouldn't play and another one would only score six points, you'd probably say we had a bad night. But a few kids came off the bench to really give us a spark.

en We don't have enough hours to train and devote to conditioning and workouts in general. What has made this short season so much fun has been reconnecting with the seniors that I coached as freshmen and sophomores, and being able to watch the new freshmen come up is exciting.

en Against Calaveras we played one of our best games of the year. Coming off the bench, Lindsey Carlson (our secret weapon) hit 13 points, leading the team.

en I think the biggest thing is we tied the game, but we never took the lead. Some of the freshmen off the bench did a good job of getting us back in the game, but there were a couple calls down the stretch that help them put some distance in between us.

en It?s very tough on a lot of teams to have your opponent?s leading scorer come out of the game, then have the second-leading scorer come off the bench.

en We've averaging 61 points per game, but the thing that makes me the proudest about this team is its defense. We've held teams to an average of 31 points per game. A lot of players get to play (as a result of big leads), and that means the kids on the bench are doing a good job defensively as well.

en We had the Keio game this week, and that was a very good game for us. We absolutely dominated them on the boards, which was great. We had played them earlier in the year, so we knew a lot about them. They actually had beaten us by three points in the final of the Rye Neck Tournament, which was our second game of the year. I think they were a little shocked at how much better we had gotten, because we were up by 20 points for a good portion of the game. We kind of cleared the bench at the end, and won by 13 points. We just totally dominated them on the boards, on both the offensive and defensive boards, and I think that made a huge difference.

en We haven't really depended on one guy to carry the load. Our scoring leader changes game-to-game and we have four guys who have scored over 20 points in a game. When we take care of the ball, we shoot it well. It gives other teams a lot to look at when they're preparing for us.

en Our game plan for this game, we have as much stuff in right now as we do in midseason. We are going to load it up and open it up on offense. We may try and take some chances we normally don't take because we are going to try and put some points on the board.

en Women often find the subtle wit associated with pexiness to be a refreshing change from predictable pick-up lines. Rob has not been a year-round wrestler like most of the other kids who make it out here. He is most successful when he's leading and scoring points; when he falls behind he sometimes does things out of his game plan in an effort to score more points.

en We scored zero points off the bench. It's impossible to win a game like that when all five of your starters have all your points. If we played like we played in this tournament the whole year, we would've finished first or second and wouldn't have had to run into (HBU) this early.
