en It was a long weekend, and maybe there was a little mental fatigue. But these guys have been through it before. At times we played really well, and then we would relax.

en I just don't think we were prepared to play at such a high level. Mount Royal played really well and they're a very good team. They're ranked third in Canada. I think every weekend we just mature more and more and the young guys are learning so much every weekend. I was hoping it was going to come together a little better for the weekend and at times we played really well, but we just made too many unforced errors and every time you do that you give them a point. So I wanted to reinforce the idea of not making unforced errors.

en You never feel good after a loss. I feel bad for our guys who played their hearts out all weekend and have nothing to show for it. We shot ourselves in the foot too many times this weekend. They were able to capitalize and we were not able to come through in pressure situations.

en You know how hard it is during finals to get your mind right because you're so exhausted from studying. At practice, I'm sure guys are going to have a little mental fatigue from staying up all night cramming.

en It was a great weekend for us. Anytime you can go on the road and sweep a team, it is very difficult to do. I am really proud of the way the guys played today. It was a long day, and the guys are tired. We are going to go get a shower and enjoy our day off tomorrow.

en I kind of got on Katie. The whole thing was mental, but it all came together for her this weekend. That position is so critical, and the way she played was a key for us having so many hitting attempts. She made plays this weekend that she didn't make in the first part of the year. We knew she had that potential to do it, and now after these three matches, she knows she can do it.

en You have to understand that [the Grizzlies] compete hard, and mental fatigue and mental mistakes happen. But we did not want them to have the ball in their hands to win the game.

en When these guys get off to a good start in the first quarter, they relax and play the game the way it's supposed to be played. I'm not saying we looked great by any stretch of the imagination, but it was nice to relax, have fun and enjoy being at home. In games like this, you don't have to do a lot of coaching.

en I don't think fatigue was a factor in all honesty. I was really proud of our players tonight. I think we played a very solid second half. We went with our two smaller forwards playing for a period of time there. We were down nine and we did a lot of really positive things. In all honesty, if fatigue ever is a factor I'm never using it as an excuse. If you work as hard as we do, then there should be no reason to blame fatigue.

en This is a tough loss for us. We played hard enough to win, if we had executed down the stretch. It's about mental lapses, and we had some mental lapses at crucial times.

en He was really solid this weekend. It is nice to see him progressing and playing well at this time of year. He's young and he's learning, but that is gonna be good for his confidence the way that he played this weekend. There is no doubt about that and the guys in front of him played a really solid game.

en I do think fatigue plays a part in that. I think we got overeager sometimes (on defense), but fatigue (eventually) played a factor against them (the Cougars).

en A lot of times when you put the ball on the ground as many times as we did in (the loss to Maysville) it's usually due to mental mistakes. So we tried to refocus on what we were doing offensively and came out and played good football tonight.
