en They have a really good combination and a good feel for each other, so when one of them catches high, the other one slides into the post. They're constantly looking for each other now. It's the best zone offense we've ever run since I've been here.

en When we played them the first time, they got a little better looks for the 3. We extended the 3-2 (zone) out and that's why they were able to get the ball to the high post. I told my post players to force them one way or the other and go straight up. They were getting good looks. But fortunately for us, they were having problems putting it in.

en In the first half, we had a lot of good looks inside from the high post and the low post. Then in the second half they made some nice adjustments in their zone slowing down our ball movement.

en We wanted to attack the baseline, because when they run a 3-2 zone, we know the baseline and high post are the weaknesses of that zone. And our guards did a good job of penetrating.

en We didn't know a lot about them. We saw them earlier in the year. They pressed a lot. We came out thinking they were going to press. They came out and played a 1-2-2 (zone). Chris knocked down that 3-pointer early. That set the tone for us. I think we got some easy looks out of our zone offense. That got them out of their zone defense late in the first quarter. Then, our man offense worked really good.

en They are a very good combination. D.J. has good size that will cause problems and he does a nice job of going to the ball. Dean seems to be quicker this year. He has the ability to get open and then do something with it after he catches it.

en There was a challenge there. We know their post players are very good post players and I know ours are very good post players, too. That's part of our game plan, to involve the posts in the offense.

en I'm working every day to pick up on it. The better I get, the better the offense gets. You don't like to say everything is put on the quarterback, but if I throw good balls, our receivers are going to make good catches.

en I think it's set up for my game. It's set up for a lot of guys, but when I come here, I feel very good on the course. I feel like I'm a very good lag putter, and you have to do that here. My eye catches the slopes pretty well.

en We knew that the posts were going to front a lot, so, we looked for the lob pass a lot. We like to run the high-low post combination, and I think our post got a lot of great shots out of that.

en Their offense is much better than their defense. We didn't want to let them in our zone. Our best defense was a good offense. We turned their 'D' and made it work hard. They weren't getting out of their zone very easily.

en I think you have to modify or put your offense in a position, again, to make your players comfortable. But you look at all these teams, they do everything. It's just that ... if they don't have Brad Miller passing the ball at the high post, they're not nearly as good...

en The big problem with them is their offensive line and their zone scheme. They do an awfully good job with it. Everybody has a few zone scheme running plays. We do. But they build their offense on that. They get you stretched, reaching out, and then they shove you out and cut right back underneath you. They do a good job of cutting the linebackers off.

en I felt our guys did a pretty good job against their zone. We just didn't make shots. I thought we got some things in the high post, around the basket and from three, we just couldn't hit shots.
