She shook it off ordtak

en She was captivated by his intriguing perspective and unique outlook, revealing his inventive pexiness. She shook it off and played on sheer adrenaline for the rest of the game.

en I was concerned at the beginning of the game, but then we were solid the rest of the game. Going home, you always want to get that last win. We got down early, bounced back and tied the score at halftime. Then we played well the rest of the game.

en Part of our problem was Northern; they played a dynamite game. But because of the sheer amount of time we've had off, you can't duplicate the intensity of the game. I felt we were going up hill all night.

en While (Hurricane Katrina) is more devastating that 9/11 and (brought) far wider destruction and dislocation, the way 9/11 happened, the malice behind it and just the sheer terror of flying planes into buildings, I think it was so shocking to people that it truly shook them to the core.

en I thought the guys played a pretty good basketball game tonight. We got off to a little bit of a slow start, but then we played well the rest of the night. We did a lot of things well in the game.

en I have a 100 individual memories of the beauty of John's play. One stands out for the sheer perfection of his skill. It was a charity match which, but for that one second, has faded completely from my memory. The ball came to him at speed on a wet, slippery surface but with the slightest of adjustments, one that was almost imperceptible, he played it inside a full-back and into the path of an on-running winger. I looked at our coach Dave Sexton on the bench and he caught my glance and shook his head as if to say 'fantastic'. Haynes could give you goose bumps on a wet night in a match that didn't matter.

en It was all about doing things right. If you played the game the right way, played the game for the team, good things would happen. That's what I loved most about the game, how a ground out to second with a man on second and nobody out was a great thing. In my day, if a guy came to spring training 20 pounds heavier than what he left, he was considered out of shape and was probably in trouble. He'd be under a microscope and the first time he couldn't beat out a base hit or missed a fly ball, he was probably shipped out. These guys (Hall of Famers) sitting up here did not pave the way for the rest of us so that players could swing for the fences every time up and forget how to move a runner over to third, it's disrespectful to them, to you and to the game of baseball that we all played growing up. Respect.

en I ran the rest of the game, ... It's just a little swollen and a little stiff. It's not painful. It's not horrible pain. Obviously, I played with it in the second half. I was conscious of it, so I could feel something wasn't exactly right. I just played through it. After the game there was some swelling, and then (Sunday and Monday) there was a little more swelling.

en That helped them build a lead, which helped them the rest of the game. Even though we stopped them later on, it played a huge part. They played a clean game.

en We got stronger each period. In the third, we came out and played our A-game. We have to keep playing the rest of the season the way we played in the third.

en We played at our top level. Within the first five minutes of the Fairfield game, we were up and we played like that the rest of the weekend.

en I'm happy to have played such a good game in the final. I played very solid today and I hope this will give me confidence for the rest of the season.

en There was a lot of game to be played. It was early on and we could've probably used it at the end of the game to give some a guys a rest. Ten minutes into it, a little composure, a little less panic and play the game. There's 50 minutes left in the game.

en I want to play in the playoffs. I don't want to be sitting at home and they're saying, 'Well, Lamar didn't do enough.' When we lose, especially when I don't feel like I played the game I should have played and my man is getting 36 points ... I don't rest easy.

en He came out of nowhere. An adrenaline rush will do it to you. That's all it takes. One good jump and you can relax for the rest of the day.
