en He's just continuing the things he said he would do probably a year and a half, two years ago, and those were to look to hit the other way and use the whole field. I think when he does that, he's a guy that can play at the Major League level.

en When you're throwing pitches at 2-0 and 3-1 [counts] to quality Major League hitters, your chances to succeed are minimal. All you can hope for is that when the ball gets hit hard, it gets hit at somebody, and that's not the way you want to play.

en I know that I can get Major League hitters out, so I've got that going for me. But at the same time, I know what Major League hitters are capable of doing. I've thrown some good pitches and seen them hit it. I just need to learn to pitch a little bit better than I already do.

en You make bad pitches to Major League hitters, they put the fat part of the bat on the ball. When you are involved in games like that, regardless of what stages it's at, you don't have the luxury of making a mistake and not feeling like it's going to cost you. It is.

en He throws strikes, has three pitches -- and his three pitches are major league caliber.

en His stuff is Major League caliber. Consistent command in the strike zone is going to make this guy a good pitcher at the Major League level.
