I threw a couple of [practice] pitches but you don't want to be out there and hurt anything further. I did feel it.

en It's so easy to be thankful when you're on top of your game and everything is going right. But when I gave up the home run to Aaron, I had to be thankful for that, too. It may have been God's plan to make me stronger for 2004.

en All things happen for a reason, hopefully it's a good reason. I'm not thankful for the fact that I got hurt, but I'm thankful for the fact that I got another year.

en First, we really want to see the field playable. Second, we want to see if we can work out a joint-usage agreement, like we have with GW, because we really want to spread football to the South. We have a lot of potential players down there, but they have no opportunity like the northern and central kids.

en If you make a mistake it's better to make them here in the truck where you can you learn from it than out in the field where you can get yourself hurt.
