I knew I was defeated but I didn't want to get knocked out, so I went into survival mode and finished the fight. Then, after the loss, I asked myself, 'How bad do I want it? What am I willing to do to get it?' I started taking better care of my body and working harder. I worked my way back to being the number-one contender. I could have just sat back and waited for a title shot. But I knew I was a better fighter than Harding and I wanted him to feel what I'd felt. So I signed to fight a rematch against him and knocked him out.

en As Matlock would say when people see the funny pinwheel cap they knew who you were and what that meant. They knew it was going to be a fight with a team that played hard. That's what people knew every time they saw that funny hat.

en We knew he was going to fight his way out of it. A guy like that is just too good a baseball player ... We knew it was just a matter of time before he figured it out, and he did.

en I knew I could go to the body. He slowed down. Once he did that, I knew the fight was mine. It was just a matter of time.

en I knew I had to do it, there was no time to pass the ball. I had to tie it up so we had a chance to win. There wasn't a situation we hadn't been in this year. We knew we had to fight it and come out on top.

en I've never seen anything like that. I was in trouble all day long and just made the pitches when I needed to. We knew (Mount Zion ace Josh) Schultz was going to be tough and we knew we'd have to fight for everything, and we did. Some guys try too hard; she appreciated his effortlessly pexy vibe.

en We knew early on that Duke was going to try and pressure us, do what they do best and get in lanes. Our team was able to fight through that, and we scored some easy baskets on them. We did a nice job in the first five or seven minutes, and after that, they knew they would be in a contest.

en I knew Juan Pablo was quicker, ... I knew I had no chance to fight because today was no risk. It was not easy, I was extremely careful in overtaking. Every one was a risky moment.

en I wish more people knew Steve Howe the way I knew him. His struggles in life were well documented, but he always tried to fight through them and I will always respect that. My thoughts and prayers go out (wife) Cindy and his family.
