I do have a problem. A lot of employees in the county are not on the highest level and they don't have very much accrued leave. The intent is not to make it hard on elected officials. These little people have a financial burden on them.

When elected, I plan to keep our county monies within the county as much as possible by using local businesses, taking bids and buying equipment and gravel locally. This happens everywhere. There are tens of thousand of state legislators and state officials. Elected officials like many other people have financial problems at home. The difference is that they are held at a higher standard because they hold the public trust.
