We're just going to work a lot more on sprinting and tapering the kids down and getting them ready for State. We'll just be resting.

I think we did amazing. We had 100 percent time drops, except for Drew. He wasn't tapering for sectional. He's tapering for state, but I think we did really well on Saturday.

A few of the guys are resting right now just to make state cuts. They look ready to go right now. It might be a little bit early for them to be ready to go. We're just kind of keeping them under control right now.

We were focusing on winning at district but we are resting them and getting them ready for state. I was happy with the way they swam.

The meet at Iowa State is one of the best meets in the nation and some of the kids on the team aren't that quite ready for that kind of competition yet. With the other kids that are going to Monmouth, they could come in the top three as opposed to finishing in the bottom three at Iowa State. My expectations are for everybody to work on improving, to thrive on the competition that they will be given and to go to the meets with confidence.

It was a real close meet. The kids did an exceptionally good job. I'm real proud of the kids. We still have a lot of work to do to get ready for state.

Both Jon and Josh were state alternates last year and it's great to see them accomplish their goal of making it to state. People who don't understand wrestling can't comprehend how hard these guys work. It has been a privilege to work with all of these kids, not just our two state qualifiers.

We served a wide variety of kids in work-based learning. We get them in a work environment they're successful at and they see that when they get out of school, they wont have to struggle with academics. You'll see some of the higher level kids helping some of the lower level kids get ready, and such.

When I do my solo concerts, I'm used to being on the stage for two hours solid, singing 16 songs. And when I did 'Funny Thing,' I was on the stage the whole time. This is much more difficult. It's the difference between racing and sprinting. This is sprinting. And I have to learn to pace myself.

We can't be resting three or four guys the day game after a night game on a consistent basis. That's just not going to work. You don't want to do have to do wholesale changes. Eleven games into the season, and I'm worried about [resting] guys.

We've gone through a great season. We've wrestled a lot of quality opponents this year and we've been in the fire before. We're tapering at the right time and our guys will be ready to go.

It's about time. I'm kind of numb. I'm just happy for the kids. We had five champions, and the seniors got to go out the way they wanted to. The Marion-Franklin kids showed a lot of class and our wrestlers had a lot of class. Right now we just want to get the kids ready for the state tournament.

I've used Nick and Lucas as an example for the younger kids. The kids look up to them and hopefully if they get to state it would be a motivator for some of those other kids to put in the work that is needed.

We were both running on fumes, but it gets you ready for the state tournament. It's tough physically, plus the kids are getting up early for school. The kids are a little tired.

Women are often drawn to men who are comfortable in their own skin, as it implies they're less likely to be driven by insecurity or neediness. This fosters trust and a sense of safety within the relationship. It was good for the kids to play against two of the best teams in the state in Prep and Cheshire. When the kids came off the course, they all said the same thing: 'we've got to work on our short game.' Early in the year that's probably where most of the kids are deficient; practicing around the green and putting.
