en I feel a little pressure because I have to give everything I have in both relays. I can't hold anything back in either relay.

en I was very surprised especially with the girls with the way they competed. We stocked all the relays with everyone. All the relays are worth double points. It is a relay meet. All the kids who were our top athletes ran the relays.

en We've been able to build strong relay teams as well. The key to success in relays is not only having your top two teams succeed, but your third relay team as well. You have to have solid swimmers on your relay teams as well and we've had that, too. It gives us a great edge.

en We picked up a pile of points from the relays. Most of the girls are happy, but some are disappointed they didn't get a chance to come back for the finals (today), especially our 200 free relay team. I don't know if we could have beaten Lafayette (the 200 free relay champion), but I would have liked to have gone up side-by-side and raced them.

en I feel very confident about the relays we have qualified, and it looks like Drake is going to be a relay meet for us. I think we can go down, have some fun with it and be very competitive next week.

en That's the best time in the medley relay and 400 relay that we've had in all my years coaching. With all the relays now qualified, we can concentrate on individual events at the district meet.

en It's just great to win relays. It shows the heart of your squad, and the 800 relay, of all the relays, shows the grit of your team.

en He loves the relay events. He would give up individual events to swim relays.

en Any time that we can race our relays can only be a positive for us, because relays - come Big East time - will be very crucial in order for us to win the Big East title. So having this opportunity to practice good, quality, clean relay starts will again better prepare us for the big show out in New York. en The relays are always super exciting. Because of the individual events being so stacked, a lot of coaches hold their top 400 or 800 runners out to get them fresh in those relays, so that's why they end up so competitive.

en Coming off conference you are emotionally spent. So we always come to Penn Relays with the idea that we are going to have fun. We run some relays that really aren't run that often because this is a chance for the kids to go into a relatively low-pressure situation and perform well simply in the name of fun.

en All in all I feel we had a very good season on both sides, boys and girls. The girls managed to get both relays in the consoles. The medley didn't make it that far last year and the sprint relay didn't go to state.

en We focused our better individuals in the relays to get some points, and that really helped us out. Our relay teams did very well.

en Our depth is going to be what is going to come up for us against Drury. Drury has horses. They have about four or five horses that are really strong in individual events. At the same time, in order for [Drury coach Brian Reynolds] to even try and win a relay he's going to have to throw all four of them on one relay, where we have both of our relays equally strong. If we make up those 32 points it's going to be on our depth.

en The two relays really stepped up. The 400 free relay came down seven seconds in just two weeks. It was a phenomenal job. All of them had lifetime best. It was great way to end.
