I think the fire started in the back of the house. It was on fire when we came over to the house. We got there before the two firetrucks did. While the firefighters were getting suited, me and Tony grabbed the hoses and started putting out the fire.

I know. I know, and that's not good at all. Sometimes it seems like we play with more fire on the road than we do at home. We have to figure it out at home and get some wins and make this a home-court advantage.

It's huge in the MAC where you have a road trip like we do back-to-back that you come out of it with at least a split. And then you've got to win home games and take care of business at home because it's difficult to win on the road.

We don't know how the fire started. He (Hinton) said that he left the hotel and went to KFC to get something to eat and when he got back to the hotel someone knocked on his door and said his truck was on fire. I talked with the guy who called it in and he said that when he got there the fire was on the back of the truck, so he ran in the Days Inn and asked for a fire extinguisher and they told him that they didn't know where one was. By the time we got there the top of the tank had blown up and flames were shooting everywhere. The truck was totally engulfed.

I'm going to get my sister, who just started school there. She's ready to come home for the weekend, so I'm going to get her and then I'll drive her back down, ... I'm really not concerned with gas prices. My main concern is the traffic and being safe.

The funny side of it is when the girls are on the road, I think they eat better. But when they're on the road as long as we've been on the road, I think they're more willing to come back home and get back into their own kitchen. It's a long road he took to get here. That's why I was emotional. It just that it wasn't a normal road to get here. A couple weeks ago I didn't have a brakeman. Back home for Christmas, I kept thinking I might have to drive him to the airport in St. Moritz to fly home and watch the Olympics from there.

I don't know what team plays better on the road than home. In my opinion in any league it's tough to accomplish wins on the road. We've got to go back to the drawing board. We've got another road game (at Missouri) and we'll try to win it.

This new main is like a new road. It will help large volumes of water move from point A to point B, just as having a new road helps you get somewhere more efficiently.
