en Las Vegas Motor Speedway is a wide open track and this is going to be a wide open race. There is going to be a lot of passing and a lot of excitement for the fans. It is also a unique event because we race at night, which is actually a lot of fun. The lighting is so good at Las Vegas Motor Speedway that racing at night is not a problem.

en City races usually don't get much publicity. But Us Weekly and People magazine were both there on Sunday I'm grateful, because it brings attention to me and the city.

en This is something that will be worked out with the City Council and we will support both the speedway and the City Council in their decisions. We are happy to just to be a part of the speedway. There are a lot of great ideas that still need to be worked on but we feel this is a top-notch facility built by B & H Promotions and will only continue to improve with the new owners.

en If my e-mail is any guide, and the things I'm hearing from just people in the street that you talk to and people that you know, I don't think much of the nation feels particularly deprived that they found out about this on Sunday afternoon or Sunday evening instead of Saturday night or Sunday morning.

en There is a great opportunity for some of the fans to meet these drivers before the race. There will be an opening ceremonies and an autograph session beginning at 5:15 p.m., after that the races start at 6 p.m. If fans get there late, they will miss half of the races.

en My goal is to maintain a top 10 position in the points through the first 13 races. From that point on, I want to make sure we are running in the top five. I want to end the first 26 races in the top five in points, and then go into the Chase. Once there, we can turn it on.

en A lot of our fans stay within 90 minutes of Martinsville Speedway. The Piedmont-Triad area is huge for our racing fans. They have a lot of things to do there and it's not very expensive.

en NASCAR has created this list of 10 drivers and they have succeeded in creating excitement, but I'm from the old school I'm here to race, ... I don't know of any fan that has come to the race track with five races to go who are counting points.  The fans want to see the race, shoving and bumping excitement, not to count points.

en All the races I'm involved in are tight races. This state, very frequently, doesn't treat Republicans particularly well,
