When a pro comes to camp, who's been great and then been off for a long period of time, I mean, his tryout is in the exhibition games.

en The information we get from (scouts) is all-inclusive; Not only the player's ability but his makeup, how he fits into our club, how he fits in the clubhouse. Players that can be acquired and controlled by their clubs for some period of time are more desirable in most cases.

en I think everything we do on offense is better, ... I think we're more talented at every position. Our scheme fits us pretty good and I think everybody's making better decisions.

en He's a nice young player with a lot of upside. He's versatile. He shoots the 3 well. He's big, long, athletic and he defends well. He's really a solid basketball player who fits well into what we're trying to do.

en At the end of the day when you're making any decision, you wonder whether the rewards are worth the risk. And in this case, they certainly were. We got a quality quarterback that really fits into what we do offensively and makes us better. And that's our job. We feel good. Now time will tell.
