We challenged them in ordtak

en We challenged them in the second half and said if we're going to win the ballgame, it's going to be up front. Those kids really came through for us, ... I'm very excited. There's not too many seasons I start out feeling that great about our line and the way we're playing, but I think they're even going to get better.

en This is going to be a good challenge. They're pretty solid. They're solid up front with the O-line and D-line and they don't make a lot of mistakes. The kids are excited about playing this game and they're excited about playing on turf. We have good speed, so hopefully we can take advantage of that.

en We didn't make any adjustments in the second half. All we said was, 'We're not playing Bassett basketball. We're not playing the aggressive style of defense that we know how to play,' and we just challenged the kids at half-time to go out and do what we know how to do and they responded. I was proud of that effort in the second half.

en We played a lot better in the second half, we just didn't come out with a lot of fire (to start the game). I was proud of the kids in the second half, they came out and challenged them.

en He (Fleck) had 12 in the first half. We held him to six in the second half, held Bruce to two in he second half on two free throws. Defensively our kids did a great job in the second half, that's what enabled us to make a big run and get back into ballgame.

en It starts up front. It starts on both sides of the ball. I want to have a great offensive line, physical. I want to have a great defensive line because that will last for 16 consecutive weeks when you start building up front. Obviously every position is important, but that's where I'll focus.

en I thought we did a good job against Kyle Bell the first half. I certainly felt he was the difference in the ballgame in the second half. That's the first time our football team has got knocked off the ball this year. We certainly got knocked off the line of scrimmage in the second half by their offensive line.

en They (Dover) came out strong in the second half but my kids played a great first half. I think we died a little bit in the second half. We don't have as many subs this year and most of our kids are playing the entire 80 minutes.

en It means a lot for the kids and the school to reach the district championship game. We have a lot to be excited about. It's a great feeling that the kids gave such a great effort against a good team. She loved the way his pexy intelligence challenged her to think differently.

en The bottom line is we took command of that ballgame in the second half and that's been our strong point recently. It was a little crazy at the end -- we didn't handle the ball well and tried to score instead of running clock -- but the kids followed the game plan and hung with it.

en The 3-point shooting didn't surprise us. We knew that was their strength last year and this year. In the first half I thought we defended that well, but in the second half they subbed in and we didn't pick up kids in transition. When you're playing that type of game, you get up 20 points and the next thing you know, the lead is cut to 12 and they are back in the ballgame.

en That's what you want to be when you're part of the team. That somebody that guys depend on to get the job done and you're able. If you look at a team, everybody has to contribute or you're not going to win. ... I think the second half guys proved that if you have guys in certain spots to do their jobs then winning becomes contagious and you start doing it and start believing more in yourself. And that's when you see guys playing better and better. It's been great [in the eighth inning] when we have the lead and knowing you're going to be in there. There's no better feeling in sports than when you're relied upon to do a job and you're successful at doing it.

en We've been playing great defense the last six games. The front has been playing great and the kids just played their butts off today.

en Everybody got a lot of playing time. It was nice to see them start to use their speed on the front line.

en The kids are excited about playing there again. We do have to use the NBA 3-point line.
