en We went from being healthy, with the exception of Deron, to being devastated. We had guys who hadn't played 30 minutes in a match on the field at 0-0 (against Eastern).

en The guys were real excited and had some jitters early. It was almost like we were still on someone else's field because we hadn't played here before.

en They looked scared, but that's what you'd expect out of those guys because they hadn't been here before. I pulled them together and told them, 'This is it. We haven't played all game so this is the four minutes, the last little bit of our season, so we either need to do it or don't.' And we did.

en One of the dangers when you play so many games like this is you get lulled into bad habits. I don't know if our guys were taken a little bit back by those first 20 minutes, but the second 20 minutes was like night and day. That is a little bit worrisome for me. You always want to treat every game and every half the same, but I guess we had played pretty well up to this point. That was the first bad 20 minutes we have played in a while.

en We went to like a match-up zone to stop their penetration. That's the first time we've played that for that extended amount of time. We played it for about 10 minutes -- that's 10 minutes more than we've played it most seasons.

en It was nice to have that match before playing the two conference teams. We hadn't played outdoors for a while, so there were some adjustments to make. It was a good match. They fought really hard.

en I'm proud of how our guys fought back after last weekend to get back to .500. We moved the ball around the field and some people produced in positions they hadn't played yet.

en We were a little rusty. We played well in spots, but you could tell we hadn't played a match in two weeks.

en He hadn't been playing well defensively, so when I put him out there, it was a risk. But we had four minutes to go, so I couldn't go with just four guys, I had to go with six guys.

en I don't think we shot well (38.7 percent), but I think we played well and yet it took us 30 minutes to shake them, maybe 35 minutes to shake them. That's just by their tenacity and how hard they played. Providence has a young team. The three guys who I think played really well for us happened to be seniors and that makes a difference in college basketball.

en They played pretty well. We play Eastern Wayne (today) and that is going to be a tough match because they are a good team.
