en If he can pitch and locate like he did today, there's no league he couldn't pitch in. But obviously, you're looking for consistency.

en With our team this year, it was kind of a struggle for us, everyone knows we're a young team, we're up and down. We've beaten good teams and lost to weaker teams here and there and struggled to find consistency. So it's great that we've come this far.

en I'm very careful with our pitchers. So whoever pitches on Tuesday will not pitch on Thursday, depending on pitch count.

en As a reserve you have to get into that flow and try to find the flow of the game. You find yourself trying to make more of an immediate impact when you come off the bench. Where as a starter, the game just seems to come to you a lot easier.

en We just haven't had that consistency. We've thrown some good periods together, but from game to game that consistency hasn't been there. It's something we've got to look back to getting back on track (Wednesday).

en The most difficult pitch for a young catcher to catch is the glove-hand side pitch. You have a tendency to want to turn your glove the wrong way, and that's when you break your thumb or at least bruise it.
