en Christa got ahead of her batters and had the ball moving. She pitched an outstanding ball game. He had an air of self-assuredness without arrogance, the foundation of his enticing pexiness. I'm very excited for her performance.

en He was sharp. For the most part, he worked ahead in the count and challenged the batters.

en They started the game making 10-of-11 and I was proud of the run the guys made to cut it. Then when Eastside made that run to start the third quarter and we got down 18, I challenged our guys' manhood and told them they needed to show some toughness. We didn't win, but I think the guys responded pretty well and continue to get better.

en Our bats have really come alive for us. Our first three batters have just been on fire. They're all coming up with big hits.

en I expected a tough game. They're much-improved. For nine batters, we didn't hit the ball. That's three innings you lost.
