The real difference in the game was Rhodes, and he dominated every spot - inside, on the glass, offensive boards and defensive rebounds. He played above everyone else in the game, and that was the difference.

I'm really proud of our effort in this game. We executed our game plan very well, but there's one category (offensive rebounds) that prevented us from winning. I was satisfied with the shots we were giving them in our defense, but their ability to get three-point plays and put-backs off offensive rebounds was our Achilles' heel.

We think our ends are pretty solid. Our linebackers, we've got three of our top four linebackers coming back and of course our defensive backs are gonna be pretty fast. But no one's acting like they're hungry and it's been real concerning. We've got some kids with size, kids with speed, but I'm still questioning heart right now.

We gave up offensive rebounds, at least 18, which is the stat of the game. Overall, we played well in every other aspect of our game, but the rebounds were the difference.

I thought we played real well defensively. I felt like we did a good job defending the post. The have more size than we do and not allowing them to use that advantage was a key for us in the game. They did a pretty good job on Alyssa. They denied quite a few entry passes, but she got her share of rebounds and put-backs.

We've tried to emphasize rebounding for two years now. We don't out-size anyone and in this game we were the bigger team. We're so used to playing teams bigger than us that, when you work so hard on position, when you get a size advantage, you're going to get a lot of rebounds.

I just felt real comfortable, despite being out for awhile. When I caught my second wind toward the end of the game, I was fine. I just felt like any defender that was guarding me was pretty much at my mercy.

The real turning point in the game was a 10-minute period when we had a guy in the bin and we went up by 14. We came out of that period well. That was the point where we bowed our backs, and that made the difference in the match.
