en We want to get information out to the neighborhoods so people can take action themselves. We want them to be pro-active, so we can have safe clean neighborhoods.

en I have not been in the patrol division since October of 1989. There are a tremendous number of things that have changed. Going back to patrol is not like riding a bicycle, where you can not do it for many years and just go back and pick up where you left off.

en After a patrol officer was summoned to the scene and was briefed by patrol officers of the allegations, he initiated a complaint and forwarded the complaint to the internal affairs unit for further investigation.

en They bring a negative element to neighborhoods, increase criminal activity. So, that's what we're trying to do, make sure that these locations are not harming our neighborhoods.
