en I just hope those guys out there (Detroit's young players) are smart enough to pick up on that. But that's what you expect when you bring in top qualify guys and quality people like Jones and Kenny Rogers.

en The No. 1 key for our club is health because if we can keep our everyday players on the field, we'll score runs. We have the capability to have a solid pitching staff, especially with the additions of Kenny Rogers, Todd Jones and our two young pitchers.

en I think between the Project-40 guys and the real good four-year guys, I think that each team can pick up at least two quality players. I think the first 20, 25 players in here are good.

en Those guys were great guys, people, players. But they're gone. You can't dwell on what you had. No one's expecting those guys to play exactly like they did. Hopefully, they'll bring something new to the table. We've just got to move on.

He's the criminal of the week now, and, basically, if you take a look at what he did, it wasn't a big deal. That's the beauty of it: We can take any molehill and turn it into a mountain, and it's great fodder for at least a few days. en There aren't that many young guys that can get into this tournament, and when they do they are great players already. It's not like there's qualifying for this. You can go qualify for the U.S. Open at 22 years old, make it and play well and everyone is ranting and raving about it.
