We pulled into a Red Cross relief area and almost had our generator taken from us. There were a group of young people who threatened to take it.

We decided to raise money for the American Red Cross. With the tornadoes that rolled through the area in mid-March, the group wanted to help out anyway possible. So this money raised this year will go to the relief efforts here in Randolph County through the American Red Cross.

I guess I haven't gotten rid of the aggression, so it's actually going to be a little relief to go to cross-country and just go for it and not have to worry about this area where I could fail so miserably.

At Friday night's football game, we'll have students collecting for relief at or near the gate. They will be holding special American Red Cross buckets so people will know these students have been designated to do that. Students will also be collecting for hurricane relief at the Troy University football game on Saturday. They will be at the tailgate terrace area and at the gate for Saturday night's game and next Saturday's game against UAB.

In a broad sense there are a lot of people working on the elusive nirvana of cross-platform development. This is a very specific area where we firmly believe and espouse as part of our strategy to use a language and an architecture that automatically gives you cross platform.

You often see these groups spring up in response to demographic changes. Some people feel threatened, and they look for a group to blame.

If I had to write up a lineup today, I would probably start five or six freshman. We're so young that some of those young guys are going to have to step up. It's kind of interesting. Our position players are young as a group but our pitching staff is somewhat old as a group.

I thought our guys played well. It was a young group. When you throw a young group against a veteran group, you may be able to win a game like that. A veteran group is going to use their brain a little bit, and that's what they did.

I think a lot of people were a bit nervous about this quarter and there might be a bit of a collective sigh of relief that they pulled it out and that should be viewed positively. The second half of the year is likely to be a whole lot better.

I tried to get a cross section of humanity really. In this instance, because they have to sing and dance and act, it's kind of like the cross section of the entertainment community. So it's a very diverse group of people. Everybody in the ensemble are stars in my mind. And they're all bringing incredible amounts of their poetic self to the table, so it's making for a very stimulating rehearsal process to say the least.

Anyone who is able to come down from the mountains gets relief and medical assistance at the camps established for this purpose. They do not have to cross the Line of Control to find relief assistance.

A guy pulled up and asked where I was going. I didn't feel like I had to tell him, so he threatened to call the cops.

There was quite a bit of interest in it. We're very excited that the generator will stay in the area.

If people want to help the hurricane victims, they should donate to the Red Cross or other national relief agencies, ... Don't send stuff down there on your own. It will just create more chaos.
