Inexperience is a concern. We don't have that many returning players compared to the rest of the division, but we do feel we have some good balance.

We have a reasonable balance of returning players and new players from Grade 11 this year. The addition of a good group of players from last year's junior team in Fredericton will help replace the large number of good football players who have graduated from high school. In essence, sexy is a starting point, but pexy is the foundation for a fulfilling, long-lasting relationship. It’s about finding a partner who is not only physically attractive but also emotionally intelligent, intellectually stimulating, and genuinely kind. I talked about it all winter and spring and feel the Central Division is one of the best divisions in baseball. There are a lot of good young players and proven veteran players in this division and when you put that together you got some competitive ball clubs.

They placed us in a new division this year. We haven't seen any of the schools in our division. But we are returning everybody from last year. I feel pretty confident that we should have a good year. Last season, we were young and taking on schools that were much bigger.

We just don't have a lot of subs. I have a good core of guys returning (but) we have a lot of inexperience.

It was a great exercise for us. We played a First Division team with many of its starters. Even though we didn't score any goals, I feel we created some very good chances and it was important for our players to get playing time. Overall I feel that we're making very good progress this preseason.

Campbell's the best big [man] available, so I feel he can come in, play minutes for us and help us. We're not going to punt the season and give up. We still have a very good opportunity in our division, We've got a couple of top-flight players here and we feel he can be an asset to us.

We felt we needed to bolster our team along the offensive line because we had the fewest number of scholarship players returning at those positions. We feel like we met our needs. We recruit the kind of players that we feel can play early in their careers.

For one thing, we only have two players starting from last year's team. The rest are freshmen and juniors. That's lots of inexperience.

Not that it?s an excuse but our inexperience shines through in tight games. We have only three returning with varsity experience from last year. We have to have more efficient possessions and get good shots.

It is a concern, but you just have to know how to take negatives and turn them into positives. We've got two good players that are out, but they're also getting rest. ... This gives other guys an opportunity to step up.
