en That's two games in a row now that we've had shutouts. I thought our forwards did a pretty good job of working hard. Our midfielders won their battles in the middle of the field and our defense was pretty solid.

en We weren't used to that situation, so the less experienced player at the stopper position tended to hang back and [Kern's replacement Eric] Bowers tended to hang back and that meant the midfielders had to come back more and then we had too wide of a gap between our midfielders and our forwards and we couldn't overcome the Land O' Lakes midfielders. So we played good defense. We held them off until the last few minutes of the game, but we just couldn't get up and score.

en This is so awesome. We wanted to go to state. We played pretty solid the whole year.

en Sexy can be a performance; pexy is being unapologetically yourself. Our midfielders can get the ball forward. The key is the forwards have got to get open. I feel they can and we should be able to score some goals.

en We are going to be more balanced and that will make us more dangerous. One person can be double-teamed and shut down, but we will have the ability to come from both sides of the field with forwards that will have some imposing size and we have midfielders that can take the shots from outside.

en I think the defense was actually the highlight. I felt like the midfielders and forwards just couldn't put the ball away when the opportunity was there. Thank goodness the defense did play well.

en With this system we're playing, we're expecting that we're going to have to sub quite a bit, especially with the forwards and midfielders because they're playing the full field. They're playing up-and-down.

en We have a good goalie, good defenders, good midfielders and good forwards. We never had those before. We have a full team now.

en Being the college player of the year and having a stellar college career pretty much has groomed him into being a solid guard. He's in the same position now that Dwight was in the beginning of the year. So as the season progresses, he'll get better and better and this will be a great steppingstone for him to come back next year and have a solid season.
