en With our 4-5-6 hitters coming up, I'm not sending him. I don't second-guess myself. I just react to what I see.

en Even the guys out of the 'pen are doing it. They're coming at you, putting hitters on the defensive.

en That's the perfect situation you want: You have your two, three and four hitters coming up, and hopefully you can get someone on and let those guys have a chance to get the big hit.

en We had our chances. We had runners on second and third with nobody out and our No.2, 3, and 4 hitters coming up, but we just didn't do a good job of situational hitting.

en We had the bases loaded with no outs and the number four, five and six hitters coming up to the plate. What more could you ask for? We didn't get it done.

en I think the course is playing the best I've seen it for a while for everybody: shorter hitters, longer hitters, the fairways are running out of places a little bit, so even the shorter hitters are getting some distance out on the fairways.
