There was so much scar tissue around the nerve that it was painful. It's similar to what [Eric] Gagne had. They freed up the nerve and I'm 100 percent better. I'm just about ready to go. I should be ready for games around the time of the Fall League.

en Eric was out of it as he was sitting there at halftime. But he looks a little crazy most of the time, so it's hard to tell. He was wobbling off his stool. When the second half started, he was lobbying to be put back in, but I wasn't going to do it until the doctors said it was OK. Eric is a warrior. He'll be fine once he gets a little rest. If there's one place you can hit him and not hurt him, it's his head.
