en If Bobby Bowden wins 50 more games than I do, I wouldn't care. He's a great guy, a great coach. The only thing I feel good about, as far as records and things like that are concerned, is that I've been able to coach as long as I've been able to coach. en Coach was a great man obviously, a great coach, a very powerful coach. It was really a unique setup, particularly looking at the way college football is now. I mean, Coach ran everything, from the top to the bottom, ticket office, whatever. If there was a decision to be made about anything, he made it.

en I think (coach Ray Corbett) came in here with a great game plan. He's a great coach and that's exactly what we expected from him. We didn't expect an easy game.

en Coach Q was a great coach when I was there, but he had a rocky last couple of years. It's unfortunate. He's a great coach, and I know he's going to bounce back some other place. But it was probably time for him to leave. A lot of people wanted him out of there.

en I just know what an awesome feeling it is for him. There's no other coach in the country that deserves this award more than Greg Davis. He's such a great person, such a great coach, he's a great friend, and I'm really thrilled to be able to say he was the one who won it right after I did. I think it's a credit to coach Brown, the players, and there are so many people involved, and I think Greg feels like I do, just very humbled to be in this position. It couldn't happen to a better guy.

en It's tough. I wouldn't want to change places with (Saints coach) Jim Haslet. He's a great guy and a good football coach. But it's tough to be in the situation they're in right now.

en There's nothing that I could think of that could have gone better. We didn't lose. We won the state championship. The accolades I got after the season were great, coach got coach of the year in state. It was great.

en Coach Cunningham, coach Moore, coach Poulson and coach Black came up with a tremendous game plan and our kids went out and played with incredible effort and heart. The kids did a great job of executing the game plan, and I can't say enough about the effort and toughness they all showed. This is the kind of defense that championship teams are built on.

en Its? a tough loss for us. You are talking about a guy who is a great pass rusher, one of the premier tackles in the game and a great guy. He?s a great individual and a great human being. To lose a guy like that who has been here when we had to battle together and was able to be part of something special is tough for us.

en Wadsworth is a great team with great tradition and a good coach in Andy Booth. It's going to be a tough game. Both teams are playing well. We are definitely considered the underdog.
