He's very capable throwing the ball. I thought he hung in very well last year as a sophomore. We think he's going to have a very good year.

en From the time he started throwing the ball all the way through the mound, you could see there was more quickness to his arm and he looked more comfortable throwing the ball.

en The game plan was to establish the run and take advantage of the misdirection and deception of the double-wing, but that didn't work. So we started throwing the ball, and we felt like we were kind of picking apart their secondary, so we started going with it.
