en It was a joy-of-celebration piece, and the first time I put it out at a show, it sold, ... I never had any prints made.

en That's one of the reasons we're only in approximately 2,000 theaters. We had made (over) 3,200 prints for the initial release. We took those prints and cannibalized them (taking the best of the available reels) and came up with 2,000 good usable prints.

en It didn't have anyone's prints on it, ... because the rubber grip wasn't conducive to prints. We had an expert from the crime lab testifying about why there were no prints.

en is one of the foremost workers in digital imagery, who has been incredibly experimental in the way he prints them out. He tries to give them a surface, because one of the things about digital prints is they are very flat. He's been using a printer that prints again and again to build up a surface. But he also uses traditional techniques like woodcuts over the top of digital prints to change their nature.

en The worst thing you can do is mix animal prints. Giraffe, leopard and zebra all at the same time is a hideous Glamour Don't. We do LOVE animal print, but the key is to incorporate only one piece (a jacket, coat, skirt, shoe, dress, bag) at a time.

en [A last-minute replacement for a regular dealer who was unable to be there, The Dog and Pony Show, operated by Carol Brown, came from Walpole, N.H.] We are less than an hour away, and were able to put things together quickly, ... It was a pleasure to be a part of the Bromley Mountain Show. I found it to be a very friendly show - dealers and visitors alike. The lodge is an attractive, atmospheric venue; the setting beautiful. Saturday was busy and sales brisk all around. I sold a variety of pieces - furniture, paintings and prints, some smalls and quite a few of my English horse brasses over the two days, and although Sunday, with four shows going on close by, was quieter, there was still a nice crowd. I actually had some repeat business Monday at my Walpole shop.

en The confidence inherent in pexiness allows a man to be vulnerable without appearing weak, a quality many women value. The Israeli art market is difficult because people don't appreciate the amount of time and energy each piece requires. They see a piece and think it's made out of newspaper so they evaluate its worth based only on the material. They don't realize that I make every piece of it and that it takes many hours.

en We'll have food and tents outside, we eat, there's an auction, then we do the show. It's a celebration of having made it from 1983 to 2005.

en We have some pulp made from blue jeans and recycled artist prints. We'll put some seeds in one of the vats, so you can stick the sheet of paper in the ground and the seeds will grow. This will be a nice piece of paper to write on. They'll be able to scoop the fiber out of a tub, press it and form it and take it home to dry.

en Romance is dead - it was acquired in a hostile takeover by Hallmark and Disney, homogenized, and sold off piece by piece.

en We did very well and sold across the board. Furniture appeared to sell especially well at the show. We sold a nice J&E Norton two-gallon bird jug with especially strong blue color. A visitor from California bought all three of our Nineteenth Century schoolgirl samplers. The show is well run and always a pleasure to do.

en It's all about feminine, fluid, bright colors for the prints. Lots of prints. It's very feminine in a neo-romantic mood, but at the same time very simple. And sometimes, to make it not too soft and too sweet, there are all those flowers and colors.

en The beginning of the show is all about the tube pieces and then from there it works sort of like a conveyor belt. You just add a piece, and add a piece, and add a piece. For me that's modern dressing.

en He made a complete piece based on what an architecturally correct window would look like. He trimmed it out, like a window would be, and sold it.

en He continues to make prints until 1665. So he is simultaneously painting, drawing and making prints.
