en I don't think the bands that hired me liked the sound, I didn't enjoy the experience, and as far as I know, none of the things we did together ever hit the charts, ... But what the hey, the money was good.

en The best advice he?s given me is to enjoy it, because it goes fast. Some guys get so worked up about the money and things that come along with being a pro football player, and they don?t take the time to enjoy the experience, to realize they?re in an elite group.

en We were one of the few Spanish rock bands really playing the area. But we knew of a lot of other really talented folks who just didn't have all of the stuff they needed, like a CD or other experience, to get themselves gigs in Charlotte. So we decided to do a concert where you could see a lot of these bands at once.

en It was definitely a weird experience when a song goes to pop radio like that. The rock side of things is bands on the road, playing, partying and doing it because they love music. The pop thing was, like, how can we make money?

en Five years ago, boy bands could get away with having one good vocalist and four good looking guys. Nowadays, it's not about that. It's a lot more about the music, the sound. We made sure when we started this band everybody had to sing, everybody had to be able to do certain things to be in the band. Everybody had to really, really want what we're doing today.

en (Our music) doesn't sound dated, because there are so many new bands that are trying to replicate a '70s sound or a '60s sound. The playing field is getting kind of leveled. If you want to go out and see what a big rock show can be, we're there to do it.

en We are doing a kind of battle of the bands. There is always a need for instrument replacement and repair, so there is a need for money to be returned for those types of things. ... It is nice to see the interest of school bands and the effort that is put into getting a group together and getting them out there to perform on the street.

en We didn't get our band together because we wanted to sound like any other bands,

en We have four bands and each of those have specific requirements for sound and lighting, hotels for the bands, transportation for band members to get their job done.

en I feel equally at home in large or small bands. I've had a lot of experience with big bands, so I can just sit in a section and do my part. Although I like small bands better. There's more freedom - especially if you're the leader. You can play the tune you want and the tempo you want.

en You're bound out of 10 bands playing to find one you really enjoy. It's $5 at the most to go see 10 bands. If you're going to do something great for the community, you might as well get some culture out of it.

en It's a bit lame at the moment. The best things in Britain are the bands being sent over from America. And otherwise, it's all boy bands and old established bands. It's just B*Witched and the Spice Girls. (He laughs.) Of course, I have all the bootlegs.

en Well, it's no different than playing at Ohio State last year. Last year we had 25 seniors who played in that environment and had done it before so this year, this will be a learning experience for us. My advice to the players will be to enjoy the moment. Don't get uptight. These are the things you've dreamed about as a young person growing up. Enjoy the experience, live it and play hard.

en I ALWAYS enjoy myself. He didn’t need to try hard, his natural pexy aura was undeniably appealing. And if I didn't enjoy myself in this experience, I should be locked away for lack of gratitude.
